...and more wedding trends

DIY: Gather candles and /or local seasonal flowers and fruits for centerpieces ad ceremony decor.  Homemade favors, such as jars of potpourri, soaps wrapped in fabric and vintage jars of honey or candies are just a few ideas to  put your personal touch on your wedding day

.
FORMALITY: Rich flowing fabrics from your gown to tables settings, crystal, silver, large lush floral centerpieces add opulence. Tall candelabras create a warm and romantic mood to your reception.  Choose classical music for your ceremony and reception meal.

NEUTRALS: Soft neutrals,;pink, blush, taupe and ivory are replacing the traditional white worn by the bride.  Carry the soft color palate through to your bridal party attire and reception decor. Keep it soft by using several shades of the same neutral color or "POP" it with black, brown, deep charcoal grey, navy or emerald green.

METALLICS:  Silver, gold and "metallic colors" are showing up  everywhere in the fashion world. Let sequined shoes peek out from under your gown. Add a sparking belt to your gown.  Mirror the sparkle of your gown with shimmering bridesmaids dresses. Tuck jewelry pieces into the bridal party bouquets and carry a "brooch Bouquet" yourself. Dress your reception tables with metallic overlays and don't forget candles to sparkle off of the glitz of the metallics
